Potato Ham Chowder

Into the crockpot goes:

1 box Au Gratin potatoes with cheese
1 small red pepper, diced
1-2 carrots, grated
2 cups diced ham
2 cups cold water
2 cups whole milk
Black pepper to taste

Stir to combine and cook on Low for 4 hours. 

Add 1 cup frozen peas and cook 15 minutes to heat.

This was really quick and easy to make.  We ate it after our Sunday hike, and it tasted so good after a chilly day outside!

Mmm! That looks yummy! I'll have to try it once we get into our house... and I get my beloved crock-pot back. :) I love a good soup/stew in the fall/winter!
