I make it differently every time. This time I made a marinade, put it in a Ziploc bag with the fish, and let it defrost in the refrigerator all day.
2 cloves garlic
6 T olive oil
1 t basil
1 t salt
1 t pepper (just realized I forgot the pepper!)
1 T lemon juice
1 T parsley
Combine ingredients and cover salmon with marinade. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Wrap in foil and bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.

That's something everyone in my house would LOVE!!! (Except my husband who is sweet enough to not complain when I make it for the rest of us, lol.)
I have bought salmon fillets at Costco a few times for a fraction of the price of the grocery store slabs and it's better quality too. I love having the fillets because then I can also make myself some salmon for lunch without a huge production :)
